CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT .. WE'RE WORKING OUR BUNS OFF!!!

But we're getting there!!!  Today is July 30th ..  Ken and I have been very very busy since I got back from Illinois .. Ken now has  his garage completely finished and Betsy finally got to move from the driveway and into the garage!!!!  Shame on me .. I have not yet gotten a picture of what a great job Ken did .. I WILL get a picture to post!! 

We have also been working inside the house .. these pictures were taken on the 27th .. 8 days later!!!  As you're looking at the pics keep in mind that I am going for the "Nana's Farmhouse" .. Country .. Rustic looks!!  Not for everybody but I love that look and I THINK Ken is getting used to that look .. LOL!!! 

More to do with the tins and the advertising signs in the kitchen .. but at least they are out of the boxes .. LOL!!   At this stage a lot of the areas we worked on are not finished .. but we're getting a good start ..

At the beginning of all this the front bedroom became the "box room" .. all those boxes of decorations and nic nacs got carried from the living room, bedroom and kitchen to this room .. it quickly became the "I don't know yet what I'm going to do with it so I'll put it in here" room also!!!  

The Raggedy Ann's and Andy's are waiting patiently for their turn!!!

The new shower curtain found it's place in the front bathroom .. 

Back to the "Great Room" .. 

The armoire for the TV makes a great place for my "Gone With The Wind" and "Wizard Of Oz" goodies .. 

This is it for now .. next pics will be of what we accomplished in the next 3 days .. finally our new house is starting to feel like a HOME!!!
