That was Mothers Day .. May 10th .. on May 12th Ken and I went back to Sawyers Ridge to do some more talking with Butch and here's what we saw ..
What a shocker it was to see that the walls and floors are practically up!!! And it's only been a couple of days!!!
The most important part of the house to Ken is of course the basement .. and we were free to walk around there and take pics .. the gentleman with Ken is Butch .. very very nice guy!!!
If we keep our fingers crossed and say our prayers and this all works out it will be neat to be able to get pictures as the house is going up and walls are being putting in and all that jazz!!! The one on the right will be ours.
These pictures were taken Tuesday or Wednesday. Butch had said the roof would probably be on by the weekend BUT we got pouring rain Thursday morning .. and rain Friday so work stopped for the weekend.
After our talk with Butch and making many many many decisions in what options we wanted for the house .. and go to a flooring place to choose flooring and cabinets etc. etc. etc. we wanted a quick bite to eat before going home .. we had a gift card for Steak n Shake so here we are again ..
Watching my calories I ordered the Slider Steak Burger with Cheese and an Applesauce Cup instead of Fries .. Ken got the Footlong Hot Dog and Fries .. just had to get a pic!!! Funny thing .. besides the difference in size of the sandwiches .. is .. Ken ordered a FOOTlong Hot Dog but was totally shocked when he saw it and how long it was .. LOL LOL LOL!!!! I suggested he cut it in half before trying to eat the thing .. LOL!!! He also go his favorite Chocolate Shake!!! Yeah .. he's trying to lose weight too .. LOL!!
Thank You Madonna for taking me to Sawyers Ridge Sunday .. seeing that basement already dug and basement walls up is what got us moving on this .. I have a feeling we'll be glad we didn't procrastinate on this!!!

Our realtor, Lori, met us at Sawyers Ridge for our meeting with Butch and she does some work at a Nursing Home in town and they were have a Fifties / Sixties day that day so she came in her poodle skirt!!! She looked so cute I just had to get a couple of pics!!!
That skirt is the one her mother made for her back in the day .. and she can still wear it!!!!! Doesn't she look sooooooo cute!!!
