CHAPTER 17 .. MORE TIDBITS FOR NOW!!

Tuesday. June 16 .. No new pics right now .. not much changing on the outside and builders working on the inside so haven't been going by for a couple of days.  According to Steve at Hopkins Flooring they were supposed to start doing their work today or tomorrow .. they will be doing the kitchen .. vinyl on the kitchen and laundry room floors and putting the cabinets in .. and the vanities  in the bathrooms.  Anxious to check all this out!!!  

Meanwhile .. the roofer finished up the repairs from the list the Inspector made yesterday!!!  He was scheduled to come out today but we got a call that he could come yesterday if that was okay with us and of course it was ..

Considering this morning's rain we are glad the roofer was able to come yesterday instead of today!!!

 Now everything on our list to satisfy the buyer and his banker has been done .. hopefully we  will soon be notified that Yes they did get the loan and yes the closing will be the 30th!!!   

 We are planning to make it to Sawyer's Ridge tomorrow to talk to whoever is in the office.  Would like an idea of when they think we will be able to move in .. at least to start moving boxes etc. and putting them in the basement and / or garage.  Tim (main guy) had told us he was sure they could be ready for THAT by the middle of the month .. it's the middle of the month.  While we're over there I hope to be able to get into the house  to measure the width of the fireplace.  While we were out "hunting" the other day I found a couple of pictures I like and we measured them but not sure if they will fit ..

And this one for a change in the Winter!!!! What do you think???????

Also while we were out "hunting" the other day we went back to "The Green Goose" and bought a cabinet that is being delivered today.  We liked it when we were there the first time but was a bit costly .. this time it had been marked down AND when I talked to the proprietor of the store she marked it down even more so we said "YES" we want it!!!  

This will go on the wall between the great room and the kitchen .. the dining room table and chairs will be in that area.
