After leaving the SAFECO office we made a drive through pouring rain to Festus and Hopkins Carpet to verify the tile we wanted for the tub in the basement bathroom. Funny .. when we got to Festus everything was DRY .. no rain and the streets were dry!!! After leaving Hopkins we made a run to Sawyer's Ridge to see how things were going at the villa .. the first person we ran into was Tim .. he walked down to the villa with us. He asked if the closing date on our house was still set for the 30th .. we said it was .. he said he THINKS they can have it ready to move into by then. Problem is .. we actually need to move in before the 30th since that is the day we close on our house!! We had a text message from Lori this morning that she is still trying to get together with the buyer's realtor to see if we can work out something to do if we can't get moved into the villa by then .. she's waiting for him to get back to her!!!
Notice what's different about the front of the house???? The porch post is in and the window shutters are on!!!
Vinyl is down in the kitchen and laundry room .. I really like the vinyl we picked out .. will look better when they clean it up!!! I think you can tell the refrigerator will be in the empty spot on the left and the stove and over the stove microwave will be in the empty spot on the right.
Those are Ken's sexy legs in front of the sink cabinet .. LOL!!!
The hardwood for the foyer, great room and breakfast area is in the boxes in the middle of the breakfast area .. I don't know what's in the long tall box leaning against the wall .. Hmmmmmmm!!!!
Vinyl is down in the bathrooms and the vanities are in ..
Master Bath ..
Hall Bath ..
Basement Bath ..
And the furnace is in to the right of the basement bath .. but don't see the water heater yet ..
The vanity isn't in yet in the basement bathroom. Hopkins will also be doing the counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms.
After leaving Sawyer's Ridge we headed back to Hillsboro where we unloaded things from "Mabel" .. ate a quick lunch .. then climbed into "Betsy" and headed for Hematite. We had loaded poor "Betsy" down with items to deliver to Madonna and Mike .. off we went .. our last project of the day. Guess what????? We got about halfway to Hematite and it started pouring down rain .. we had sunshine for a short while .. we got to unload everything in the rain .. at least it slowed down a little bit while we were unloading .. LOL!!!
Now we are back home .. and taking life easy for the evening .. back to boxing things up and organizing and cleaning again tomorrow most likely .. but tonight .. time to stretch out with a hot cup of Coffee and put our feet up and RELAX!!!!
