We went to Sawyer's Ridge Wednesday to talk to whoever was in the office .. it was Butch. Asked if it would be possible to get a possible date for when we would be able to move in .. Butch called the builder (Jim) and he said they are working as hard as they can .. they are hoping to have everything done by the 30th. Hoping to be able to let us move things into the basement and garage before that .. but no positive answer. Lori is trying to get in touch with the buyer's realtor to see if we can work something out for extra time before moving out if needed but he has not gotten back to her .. Arrrgghhhhh .. very stressful!!!
I'm ready for more pictures .. and more information!!! We walked over to the house while we were there Wednesday to measure the width of the fireplace .. I want to know if those pictures we liked will fit ..they WILL!!! Soooooo .. we just may go buy them today if they have not already been bought by somebody!! I didn't take any pictures because the mean from Hopkins flooring were all over the place working. The flooring and kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities come from Hopkins and are installed by them. And that is being done even as we speak .. Yayyyyyy!!! We have several "projects" we're taking care of today so I'm thinking we'll be in Festus after the builders go home so hopefully we can get into the house and get some pics. Soooooo hopefully I will have some more pics to post tomorrow .. no promises though .. LOL!!!
I love seeing the house "grow" and I can look at these pictures and it helps to be able to look around and think OK .. I could put this here .. and this here .. and this here!!! Ken's driving himself bonkers figuring out how he's going to set up his workshop while I'm going bonkers figuring out where everything's going in the "living " part of the house!!!!
Hi Liz and Ken !! I know you are both excited to move into your new home ! I imagine all this rain has set them back a bit --It would be nice if the people who have purchased your house would give you a little more time,but they are probably as anxious to move into their new home as you are ---In the meantime, you can get ready for the move and get ideas about how you are going to decorate your new home !! Ken, can think about ideas to fix up his workshop --It won't be long until you will be the proud owners of a Villa !! (Your New Home !! ) --Big Hugs to both of you !
